Architectural Technologist / CAD Draftsperson / Detailer

Committed to project quality and client satisfaction within a design-build atmosphere, the successful applicant will work collaboratively with guidance from senior staff.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce construction drawings for Commercial, Industrial, and Multi-Dwelling Residential projects, including:
• Architectural Site Plans, Floor Plans, Reflective Ceiling Plans, Roof Plans, Cross-sections, Details, Finish/ Door/ Window Schedules
• Structural Foundation Plans, Sawcut Plans, Roof Framing Plans, Wall Framing Elevations
• Coordinate revisions and mark-ups as per instructions
• Coordinate drawings with C/M/E/P disciplines
• Liaise with Development Team, Estimating, and Construction Project Managers
• This position is based in-office in LaSalle, Ontario (no remote work)

Skill Requirements:

• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of construction techniques and the Ontario Building Code (O.B.C.) is an asset
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (with or without Architectural Desktop)
• Experience with SketchUp and rendering programs is an asset
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel

Additional Details:

• Full-time, permanent position (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with additional hours as needed)
