  • Interpreting blueprints to determine the shape, size, color, and thickness of glass for installation.
  • Before cutting, measure and mark lines or patterns on glass.
  • In the workshop and on the job site, glass is cut to size and specifications.
  • If necessary, measuring, cutting, and applying anti‑glare film to glass.
  • Loading glass or mirror fittings into delivery trucks for delivery to the job site.
  • Transporting materials and glass to job sites via truck.
  • Making and installing glass installation moldings.
  • Prior to new installation, cut and remove broken glass.
  • To lift heavy glass units, use suction cup hoists or cranes.
  • Once the glass has been installed and the client is satisfied, clean the work area.
