Qualifications

• 2 or more years previous experience in major appliance service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract required.
• Appliance Technician certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Domestic Appliance or Gas Technician 2 Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct appliance diagnostics to determine root cause of issues.
• Estimate costs of repairs including parts and labor.
• Order parts and maintain sufficient inventory supply.
• Complete repairs on various brands of domestic appliances.
• Update service documentation describing repairs in detail.
• Adhere to health and safety and departmental procedures.
• Ensure proper maintenance of shop tools.

This position is responsible for delivering superior customer service while completing appliance repairs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct appliance diagnostics to determine root cause of issues
• Estimate the costs of repairs (parts and labour)
• Order parts and ensure inventory supply levels are sufficiently maintained
• Complete repairs on various brands and types of domestic appliances
• Update all service documentation, describing repairs in detail and reporting identification of repaired stock
• Adhere to all health and safety, security, building and departmental procedures
• Ensure the proper maintenance of shop tools

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 or more years previous experience and/or education in major appliance service
• Valid driver’s license (must be able to provide a clean driving abstract)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly developed technical, investigative, and analytical skills
• Punctuality and dependability a must
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Appliance Technician certification or willingness to obtain one
• Domestic Appliance or Gas Technician 2 Certification and ODP would be considered assets
