As a senior financial analyst, you are the key person influencing decisions for key business leaders through financial data and insights, serving as the main point of contact to provide findings and recommendations to our senior leadership team and CFO.

Responsibilities:

1. Act as the CFO for your business, working directly with management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations and develop reports to drive the business.
2. Prepare and present complex financial analysis in a meaningful, concise, and user-friendly manner for senior management.
3. Lead semi-annual planning activities in partnership with finance teams and internal business stakeholders to support strategic planning.
4. Influence and drive business actions through value-added analysis and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Provide thought leadership and recommendations for process improvements.
6. Share and implement best practices within the team and finance group.
7. Represent the analytics & insights function as a key resource; build positive working partnerships.
8. Oversee and independently perform tasks from end to end.
9. Execute data requests accurately and timely.
10. Translate business requirements into analytics and reporting needs.
11. Develop new reporting methods using creative problem-solving.
12. Design and develop algorithms and models for large datasets to create insights and identify business opportunities.
13. Support data science projects through effective analysis.
14. Consult with Data Scientists on analytical methodologies.
15. Apply understanding of business strategies to produce relevant data analysis.
16. Continuously develop skills in data analytics concepts and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 7 years of experience in financial analysis, business insights, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• Learning mindset and willingness to mentor others.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Expertise in business analysis and financial modeling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Flexible approach to solutions.
• Comfortable presenting to varied audiences.
• Proficient in MS Office, SQL (preferably Google BigQuery), Tableau, and Python.
• Experience with statistical techniques and data visualization.
