What are your contributions to the team?
  • Analyze, monitor and control the budgetary envelopes of the Program team.
  • Present your analysis and recommend your budget strategies to management teams.
  • Manage budget governance and prepare the necessary content (key indicators, variance, risks & opportunities)
  • Establish budget schedules and guide teams towards defined milestones.
  • Establish performance criteria for certain strategic initiatives/portfolios and monitor their achievement.
  • Help define and maintain a governance calendar for the management team.
  • Contribute to the definition and maintain standardized tools for the definition and budget management of the Program and Engineering teams.
  • Identify and manage risks & opportunities by mitigating them with the functional teams.
  • Guide a team in solving problems and establishing new processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities on the budget process, define a new work tool and standardize templates.
  • Work in a multi‑functional environment in which you interact with all levels of management.
  • Maintain efficiently and rigorously a large volume of financial data.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
  • You hold a university degree in management, finance, business administration or equivalent.
  • You have initiative, are results‑oriented and have the desire to make decisions.
  • You have strong financial management skills, as well as strong analytical, planning and problem‑solving skills.
  • You are an organized, autonomous person and you demonstrate informal leadership skills (e.g. influencing without formal authority).
  • You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) and can influence at different levels of the organization.
  • You have experience using and understanding ERP systems (SAP an asset).
  • You have more than five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • You master MS Office, TEAMS, with knowledge in database management.
  • You can work in English and French on a daily basis, and demonstrate good communication skills.
