Every WestJet journey has the potential to enrich lives; a career with us is no exception.
WestJet arrived on the Canadian airline scene in 1996 and changed the industry for the better. We made air travel more affordable for Canadians and now we’re going global.
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Pricing & Revenue Management Team. This individual should exhibit a high standard of excellence, enjoy challenges, and is results-driven. The incumbent must be highly motivated and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced and competitive environment.
The Pricing & Revenue Management teams work hand in hand managing day to day and long-term strategic revenue optimization for WestJet. What is Pricing and Revenue Management? It isn’t corporate finance or accounting, but it exists in many industries. It is why roses cost more on Valentine’s Day than the week after, why hotel rooms in Las Vegas cost more on the weekend than mid‑week, and why sometimes there are seat sales for flights many months in advance. Responsible for defining price points based on the strategic direction of the market, balancing consumer demand and competitive needs in a constantly shifting environment. Pricing & Revenue Management is a blend of art and science that requires the combination of strategic thinking and problem solving to make high impact decisions with immediate impacts.
