Be part of our talented and growing team! We are currently looking for an Analyst, Credit Risk Management, to join our team reporting to the Manager, Credit Risk Management.

As an Analyst, Credit Risk Management you will support the end-to-end credit cycle for the Direct Lending portfolios, including origination strategies and policies; portfolio management and performance monitoring; loss mitigation toolkits, policies and execution; internal and external (1st and 3rd party) collection strategies; and, post charge-off recovery, settlement and asset sale strategies.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
  • Contribute to the development of loan origination strategies that balance profitability and risk.

  • Collaborate with Collections Analytics to improve delinquency rates, reduce costs, and enhance recovery processes.

  • Support regulatory reporting and ad hoc data requests.

  • Monitor portfolio performance using statistical analysis and data visualization tools.

  • Prepare performance reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors

  • Provide analytical support for new product initiatives and cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing).

  • Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes and procedures.

  • Stay current on industry, regulatory, and macroeconomic trends, and recommend strategic responses.

  • Perform other risk analytics tasks as assigned.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience in credit risk or financial services is an asset.

  • Strong understanding of credit risk principles and risk assessment techniques.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, or Python for data analysis.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, AWS QuickSight) is an asset.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
