We are currently searching for Experienced Aircraft Assemblers to join our team in Victoria, BC.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Study and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand assembly requirements.
  • Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and form sheet metal components according to specifications.
  • Assemble sheet metal parts and components to create sub-assemblies or finished products, adhering to strict quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of assembled components to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to aerospace industry standards.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Safely handle and store sheet metal materials, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
  • Work closely with other members of the manufacturing team, including engineers and machinists, to achieve seamless integration of sheet metal components into larger assemblies.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
Education and Professional Qualifications
  • Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Any technical or trades qualifications/certificates, or training would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to complete a criminal background check.
Skills & Experience
  • 3-6 months of experience as an assembler.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing, aerospace, warehousing or construction experience is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication machinery.
  • Ability to interpret and understand drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety guidelines.
