Overview

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Air Compressors / Pump technician to join our team. The ideal candidate would have a background in air compressors, pumps and blowers. As an air compressor service technician, you would be working in the field servicing clients compressors such as reciprocating, oil-flooded & oil-free rotary screw compressors, plus downstream equipment. Travel is required and use of a company supplied service vehicle is provided.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment at customers site
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management
  • Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with team members and other departments regarding maintenance needs and project updates
  • Analyze mechanical issues to determine the root cause of failures and implement corrective actions
  • Work with low voltage systems as required for machinery operation
  • Collaborate with industrial electricians to ensure proper operation
  • Service, overhaul, and repair compressors
  • Service and repair downstream equipment such as dryers, filters, and oil / water separators
  • Work with territory manager on opportunities with customers
Experience / Qualifications
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is essential
  • Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals is required
  • Electrical knowledge is an asset
  • Basic Knowledge of HVAC systems an asset
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose problems effectively
  • Previous experience working with low voltage systems is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in customer service interactions, are necessary for success in this role
