What You’ll Be Doing

The Dispatch & Operations Support coordinates daily operations, resources, and personnel to ensure the smooth execution of branch operations and services. This role is a blend of administrative and hands-on operational duties.

Key Duties
  • Communicates with and advises customers on use and application of products sold.
  • Arranges work schedules, dispatches and coordinates application and delivery equipment ensuring least cost operations.
  • Completes all assigned record-keeping duties, such as vehicle logs, records of sales, delivery information, and application records, in a timely manner.
  • Assists the operations manager ensuring full utilization and maintenance of application, delivery units and location equipment ensuring operator safety and operating procedures are continuously being followed.
  • Loads and unloads containers, pallets, or materials and products, safely on trucks, trailers, or railcars by hand or by forklift truck.
  • During harvest, this role will support our grain elevator activities including loading and unloading grain trucks and scaling trucks, as well as operating automated system grain dryers.
  • Maintain and adjust straightforward equipment and/or machinery, including grain elevator motor and auger.
What You Bring To The Table
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, particularly during peak seasons.
  • A valid class G or DZ driver’s license (depending on work location), and a clean driving abstract.
  • Working knowledge and proper handling of crop protection products, plant food, seed, and custom application equipment and application practices and bulk & bagged fertilizer operations.
  • Ability to run/operate application equipment, work at an elevator, in the shop, and/or deliver product with trucks from the elevator, and warehouse.
  • Must have or be able to obtain various licenses, permits and certificates, as required, e.g.: forklift certification, TDG
