The Finance Transformation team is looking for an Advisor who is passionate about performance improvement and motivated to play a strategic role in transforming the finance function. Reporting to the Director – Finance Transformation, the incumbent’s primary mandate will be to plan, lead, deliver, and support process and control optimization projects in collaboration with various Finance teams. The Advisor will act as a change agent, challenging the status quo while promoting team buy-in and contributing to establishing a culture of continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and controls within the function.

  • Salary scale 005: $ 82,600 to $103,200 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)
What this role involves:

More specifically, the responsibilities include:

  • Lead a project to map Finance function processes in collaboration with the teams.
  • Participate in developing concrete and innovative solutions to improve processes and performance of Finance teams.
  • Direct, plan, and oversee targeted optimization projects and initiatives, ensuring their success in collaboration with Finance teams, with the goal of accelerating month-end closing, improving inventory item accounting, and facilitating adherence to established processes.
  • Establish effective communication channels between Finance teams and other departments within the organization, demonstrating mobilizing leadership recognized by peers.
  • Be responsible for achieving project results and objectives under your governance while acting autonomously and ensuring follow-up with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a constantly evolving environment.
What you need to join our team:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; a professional accounting designation is considered an asset.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role or in relevant functions.
  • Good knowledge of SAP.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish credibility and foster a recognized collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a strong focus on finding practical solutions.
  • Proven experience in process improvement.
  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
