Overview

Your Opportunity:
der general supervision of the Bone and Joint Unit Manager the Administrative Support III (AS III) position will provide a wide range of clerical support. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for receiving and processing referrals made to the Bone and Joint Clinics. This will include confirming completeness of the referrals, communication with the referring agents as required, sorting of the referrals to the appropriate surgeons, entering data into EPIC and creating and managing surgeons' waitlists. The AS III will serve as a liaison between Bone and Joint Clinic surgeon's and referring agents. The reception and phone desk duties will include but are not limited to: booking patient appointments, triaging clinic phone calls, data entry, registering patients in EPIC and verifying and validating patient information upon patient arrival. Additional task to support this very busy clinic as required from the leadership team. As a successful candidate, you demonstrate critical thinking, effective time management, flexibility & attention to detail. You have a strong commitment to patient satisfaction, quality health service & an understanding of organizational policies, laws, regulations, ethics, conflict management & resolution in a health care environment. You have an ability to foster and promote teamwork, collaboration & partnership to manage and resolve complex and confidential situations in which the impact of error could be high.
