Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper — M. Taylor Services Inc., Richmond Hill

Administrative and financial services for nonprofit construction trade associations. We’re a small company providing operational management for boards, membership support, and financial/content management across platforms. We are looking to add someone who can handle both administrative and financial needs with precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative duties with a focus on communications: liaising with trade association executives, refining delivery, preparing new member packages, marketing materials, and social media as needed.
  • Bookkeeping: AR/AP for clients, using QuickBooks, with attention to detail and basic accounting management.
  • Occasional involvement in trade shows and events to improve membership and operations.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years’ experience in administration
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience in construction industry preferred
  • Driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle
  • Valid passport
Benefits / Details

Full-time, permanent role with hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm (or 8:30 am–4:30 pm).

Starting salary between $40,000 and $45,000 per year plus medical benefits and 2 weeks’ vacation. M. Taylor Services Inc. is owned and operated by a single person, offering substantial opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to the business.
