Overview

Administrative Assistant (Temporary – Maternity Leave Coverage)

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Assistant to provide a wide variety of clerical and staff support services. This role will support department processes and reporting requirements in accordance with company policies, practices, and procedures.

Compensation

25 / hr

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., 100% on site

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and update Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Perform general office duties, including creating shipping documents and processing invoices.
  • Filing, sorting, and opening mail.
  • Receiving visitors and answering phone calls.
  • Providing assistance or directing inquiries to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Exercising discretion and judgment in dealing with outside vendors.
  • Create, review, and arrange manifests into packages; confirm destinations on manifests.
  • Provide support to Sales and Field Technical Services with paperwork, invoicing, and customer communications.
  • Mail and ship packages via USPS, UPS, and FedEx; manage outgoing mailings (stuffing and sealing).
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an office environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service in diverse settings.
