A leading staffing solution firm is searching for a diligent and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant for a 3+ month role. This position will support various departments by handling daily office functions, managing schedules, and assisting with administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will have a background in business administration, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required.

We are currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and forward thinking Administrative Assistant to fill a 3+ month role for our government client located in Edmonton. This position involves running the daily functions of the office and supporting various departments with administration and coordination.

Responsibilities :

  • Greeting visitors and answering phones.
  • Manage calendars and coordinate meetings.
  • Type, format, and proofread correspondence documents.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports.
  • Attend meetings and record minutes.
  • Update databases and run reports.
  • Support and organize company events, breakfast meetings, and charity initiatives.
  • Manage office supplies, and order in food for meetings.
  • Administrative support in the office as required.

Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in business administration or a related field would be well regarded.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Flexibility, willingness to help wherever is needed.
  • Time management skills with a strong attention to details.
