Qualifications

  • 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate (ABSA) is required.
  • 3-5 years of process plant experience; DCS experience preferred.
  • Sulphuric Acid Plant experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting circuit and equipment upset conditions or issues.
  • Operating automated control systems.
  • Monitoring and inspecting plant equipment.
  • Measuring temperature, flow, and pressure.
  • Analyzing and recording instrument readings.
  • Performing routine equipment maintenance.
  • Cleaning and lubricating machinery and components.
  • Maintaining a daily log of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
