The Role At A Glance / Ce que le poste implique

Reporting directly to our Corporate Controller, you will be a resource for our employees and talent on all accounting-related matters. The successful candidate will handle bookkeeping, data entry, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. This is a full-time position, suited for a junior accountant wishing to develop skills in a dynamic and creative environment. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude will lead to greater responsibilities in the future.

One of the most important tasks will be to communicate with agency talent, request their invoices by email, and diligently follow up when needed. Proficiency in both French and English for written communication is essential, and bilingualism is expected. Finally, we are seeking someone who can work quickly and accurately.

Your Role In Action / Ce que tu feras au quotidien
  • Verify invoice accuracy and enter them in QuickBooks Online.
  • Communicate with clients by email and sometimes by phone, in French and in English.
  • Receive client payments, reconcile accounts, resolve payment discrepancies, and follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Prepare payment-related documents (credit notes, tax forms, supplier forms, etc.).
  • Weekly analysis of accounts receivable.
  • Ensure supplier billing accuracy and enter talent and operating expenses in QuickBooks Online.
  • Communicate with talents and suppliers by email and telephone in English and French.
  • Track talent and supplier accounts and issue statements as needed.
  • Prepare payments in the payment platform and record them in QuickBooks Online.
  • Verify staff expense reimbursement reports, reconcile with receipts, and issue payments.
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements.

  • Accounting degree completed.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online or Simple Accounting.
  • 1+ years of experience in general accounting.
  • 1+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills – detail-oriented, creative, practical.
  • Bilingual French and English communication.

  • Track the accounts of the talents and suppliers and issue statements as requested.
  • Prepare the payment in the payment platform and record the payment in QuickBooks Online.
