Qualifications

• Completion of a bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration is preferred.
• Working towards CPA Professional Education Program prerequisites when employment begins.
• Previous accounting-related office experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills in compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax.
• Set up files for new clients and manage multiple files simultaneously.
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and relevant reports.

Skills

Technical skills in compilations, reviews, audits

Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP

Customer service skills

Experience with accounting software

Education

Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major preferred)
