Location: North York, Ontario

Job Type: Full‑time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process client payments and ensure that invoices are prepared and sent promptly.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor financial transactions.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
  • Track, reconcile, and report intercompany loans, shareholder loans, dividends, and withdrawals following CPA standards and tax rules.
  • Track commission payments for mortgage brokers and ensure timely and accurate distribution.
  • Support in the preparation of tax filings and work closely with the accountant to ensure all financial documentation is accurate and up to date.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of accounting experience in a Canadian public practice or multi‑client environment.
  • 3+ years of expertise in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CPA designation is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
