Job description

We're seeking a full-time detail-oriented Accountant to join our team! In this role you'll support day-to day financial operations within the manufacturing division of FYihealth group, including the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close. This is a great opportunity for a driven CPA candidate who loves to learn and wants to grow their career.

This role is located at our Home Office in Delta, BC, which follows a hybrid work model.

What Will You Be Doing?
  • Performing a variety of month-end procedures including analysis on GL accounts, preparing manual journal entries, reconciliations and working papers
  • Full-cycle accounts receivable process including invoicing, journal entries and payments as well as bank deposits and reconciliations
  • Following up on outstanding issues and inquiries with clinics, providing guidance and assistance as required
  • Analyzing monthly accounts and reconcile to various systems used within the company
  • Preparing, reconciling, and posting intercompany transactions, ensuring maintenance and accuracy in pricing
  • Implementing and looking to continually improve standard operating procedures and processes and assist in creating and improving internal reporting
  • Assisting in the completion of special projects and/or ad hoc projects
  • Supporting the development and implementation of inventory counts and procedures
As The Successful Candidate, You Have:
  • Completion of a College Diploma and/or University Degree in a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable/General Accounting role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • A self-starter and highly motivated individual with a drive to learn and improve self and processes
  • Experience with ERP systems and/or Netsuite is an asset
  • Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset

The expected compensation for this position is between $55,300, to $70,000 annually considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications.
