This is an onsite role, located in Mississauga.

What You Will Do
  • Display a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism, listening carefully to customers' needs and displaying empathy to provide the best service possible, escalating issues to the next level of authority and taking initiative to assist others.
  • Consistently adhere to standards to provide accurate and timely identification of commercial customer and dealer issues along with appropriate resolution including but not limited to payout quotes, audit balance confirmations, plating letters and account reconciliations/amortization schedules.
  • Be the point of contact lease assumption/loan takeover information gathering and document processing.
  • Administer insurance process including certificates status and compliance follow up.
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure delinquent payment & insurance coverage irregularities return to a level of acceptable compliance as quickly as possible.
  • Determine the cause of default or delinquency and, negotiate arrangements through payments, modifications, or repossession when warranted.
  • Make discretionary decisions upon each account as to the likelihood of succeeding through the total obligation and assistance that will be needed through this process.
What You Bring
  • BA/BS in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience in the financial services industry.
  • 3-5 years progressive asset account management and/or collections experience in commercial banking, consumer lending or equipment leasing.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Bilingual (English/French) capability is a strong asset and highly valued.
