Account Coordinator - Paid Search (Contract)

This is a 6‑month maternity leave contract.

Account Coordinators have the opportunity to join the dynamic world of Search Engine Marketing and assist in implementing, analyzing and optimizing client’s campaigns. This is a great opportunity to join the Search Engine Marketing team at Catalyst, working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, driving the growth of a global company while engineering your own career development.

Responsibilities
  • Use PPC systems, such as Google AdWords and Bing Ads for day‑to‑day campaign management.
  • Implement and optimize paid search campaigns.
  • Monthly campaign reporting and analysis.
  • Keyword research.
  • Copywriting, including function‑based text manipulation.
  • Daily management and pacing of account budgets and bids.
  • Involvement in recommending ways to improve the efficiency of the team’s operation.
Qualifications
  • University degree or relevant college certificate required.
  • Knowledge of the digital landscape.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Data‑driven and highly proficient at Excel.
  • Understanding and interest in online marketing; Search Engine Marketing in particular.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Attention to detail in managing multiple complex activities for accounts.
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner with a broad range of people.
  • Willingness to take on challenges and to learn.
  • Commercial awareness & capacity to improve the company’s commercial outcomes.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with demonstrated problem‑solving skills.
  • Previous experience with AdWords, DoubleClick or Marin is an asset.
