Qualifications

Join our team as a Millwright and help keep our operations running smoothly! You’ll be part of a skilled maintenance team, dedicated to maximizing equipment efficiency and uptime. In this role, you’ll perform preventative and corrective maintenance and take on exciting project work to support Dufferin Aggregates’ success.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and support during breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace equipment such as conveyors, pumps, pneumatic systems, compressors, and boilers.
  • Participate in project work (process improvement, reliability) and annual shutdown overhauls.
  • Remove outdated or unused equipment as directed.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and report deficiencies to the supervisor.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations, including PPE use and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Requirements:
  • Valid 433A Millwright License
  • 5 Years of experience in an heavy industrial setting as a Millwright
  • Experience welding, cutting, brazing using different techniques and with different metals
  • Hoisting and Rigging knowledge (considered strong asset)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for pumps, fans, blowers, and gear drives
  • Ability to work in varied conditions (outdoors, heights, confined spaces)
