Job summary

A large fuel and lubricant distribution company is seeking a skilled Truck & Coach Mechanic to maintain and repair their fleet of trucks and trailers. This role, based in Thunder Bay, requires a 310T certification and experience in a trucking/petroleum operation. Competitive wages and benefits, including a pension plan, are offered. The successful candidate will need to provide a Criminal Records Check and must submit a resume and CVOR by December 22, 2025.

Qualifications

  • 310T certification preferred, but significant experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge of truck and coach mechanisms is essential.
  • A valid DZ Driver’s license will be considered an asset.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Job description

Morgan Fuels, a large fuel and lubricant distribution company operating throughout Northwestern Ontario and Winnipeg, has an immediate employment opportunity for a Truck & Coach Mechanic. This position, based out of Thunder Bay, is responsible for maintaining & repairing our fleet of trucks & trailers. Days of work are generally Monday to Friday.

Preferred qualifications for the position include but are not limited to:
  • 310T – Truck & Coach Mechanic Trade Certification (Consideration will be given to apprentices as well as candidates without certification but with significant experience)
  • Experience in a trucking/petroleum operation
  • Ability to complete work orders
  • Knowledge of petroleum handling
  • Own tools and steel toe boots
  • Welding skills would be an asset
  • Valid DZ Driver’s license is an asset

The successful candidate will have to provide an acceptable Criminal Records Check.
