Job summary

A utility contractor is looking for a licensed 310T Technician in Toronto, Ontario. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation of $35-$40/hour. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing mechanical and electrical components and working alongside the team to ensure timely repairs. Candidates must have a 310T license and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid 310T license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the trade.
  • Prior experience working on servicing hydrovac trucks is a strong asset.
  • Valid G Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
  • DZ Driver's License is considered an asset.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50LBS.

  • Inspect, diagnose, repair, adjust and service mechanical and electrical components.
  • Assist with repairs to trucks, welding machines, forklifts and small engines.
  • Work with co-workers and managers to complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting engine issues.

Overview

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Compensation: $35-$40/hour

About the Company: Our client is a utility contractor focused on three main operations, Electrical, Civil Construction and Engineering & Design. They are growing at a rapid rate and are looking to add a licensed 310T Technician to their team!

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, repair, adjust, overhaul and service mechanical and electrical components
  • Assist with repairs to the following: trucks (F150, bucket trucks, hydrovac trucks), welding machines, forklifts, compressors, small engines and trailers
  • Work directly alongside co-workers, Departmental Managers and Fleet Managers to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting engine issues including repairs and overhauls
  • Assist with cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid 310T license
  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the trade
  • Prior experience working on servicing hydrovac trucks is considered to be a strong asset
  • Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
  • DZ Driver's License is considered an asset
  • Ability to operate manual transmission
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50LBS with the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and safely climb a ladder
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
