PROJECT ENGINEERWe have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer in our Engineering Design and Construction Division. Bring Your Engineering Expertise to Life: Design & Build the Future of Our City. Are you passionate about bringing infrastructure from concept to construction? We’re looking for a Project Engineer with a strong background in design and construction to join our Engineering Department. In this pivotal role, you’ll take the lead on a wide range of municipal infrastructure projects, focusing on civic facilities such as fire halls, hockey arenas, and recreation centers, ensuring designs translate seamlessly into successful, on-the-ground results.
Reporting to the Manager, Engineering Design and Construction, the Project Engineer serves as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager on infrastructure projects across the city. Your focus will be on the full lifecycle of capital projects: taking conceptual ideas through detailed design and into construction, completion, and handoff. You’ll coordinate consultants and contractors, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and drive excellence in design and delivery.
