A community services organization is seeking a Pre-School Teacher – ECE to guide and supervise children in a Child Care Program. Ideal candidates will have an Early Childhood Education Diploma and a passion for working with children. Responsibilities include interactive teaching and ensuring children's safety in various environments. This temporary full-time position offers a starting wage of $25.66/hour and ends on October 22, 2026.

For the duration of the temporary contract, the Pre-School Teacher – ECE will guide and supervise children enrolled in the Child Care Program in all areas of development, under the direction of the Supervisor and in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act and the philosophy of the Directly Operated Child Care programs. The Pre-School Teacher position at First Steps Early Learning and Child Care Centre includes direct interaction with children, which can be physically demanding.
