Remote-first part-time freelance Brand Designer role at tl;dv. Part-time freelance (5–20 h/week) with a clear path to a full-time role within 12 months based on impact. Reports to Founder/Marketing/Head of Design. Compensation set based on agreed hours/work scope of part-time role (flexible).

We are building a differentiated brand in a competitive AI/SaaS market. This is not a "make it pretty" gig. We want a designer with exceptional taste, strong opinions, and the instincts to ship visuals that move metrics. We are looking for highly motivated team players to join our hungry squad.

• Own day-to-day marketing design: ad creatives, product marketing animations, landing pages, websites, email visuals, partner assets.
• Evolve and guard our brand system (typography, color, illustration, motion, component libraries) across web and product-adjacent surfaces.
• Turn complex AI features into clear, conversion-ready visuals (diagrams, product mockups, short motion snippets).
• Rapidly prototype A/B test variants; ship multiple creative angles per week.
• Build reusable templates for speed (social sets, launch kits, webinar packs, sales one-pagers).
• Collaborate on campaign concepts end-to-end: insight → moodboard → concept → production → iteration.
• Maintain a tidy Figma workspace (components, tokens, documentation) so others can self-serve.

• Enhancing our designs to build thought-leadership as a bold brand within AI SaaS.
• Asset turnaround under 48 hours for priority requests; weekly creative batch drops.
• A cohesive brand system used across marketing and sales with near-zero rework.

• 6+ years of hands-on design experience in SaaS/AI (agency or in-house).
• You know the category patterns and how to break them.
• Exceptional taste with refined typography, layout discipline, restraint where it matters, edge where it counts.
• Deep interest in current design trends in tech/SaaS/AI; ready with references.
• Bold yet coachable; able to defend strong creative while remaining collaborative.
• Fast-paced, passionate, easy to work with; low-ego team player with crisp communication.
• Tools: Figma & WordPress/Elementor power user; Adobe Illustrator as needed.
• Bonus: light motion skills (After Effects or Figma video exports).

• 2–4+ years in marketing/advertising environments (performance creative, concepting, storytelling).
• Ability to produce quick micro-motion (feature reveals, UI walkthroughs, ad loops).
• Understanding of performance marketing basics (hook hierarchy, thumb-stop, offer framing, mobile-first).
• Experience building componentized design systems for marketing.
