Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low‑latency, high‑speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. We are looking for a talented individual to lead Latam Consumer Partnerships – ranging from distribution, product and service bundles and strategic partnerships.

As one of our key team members, you will be responsible for developing and managing partnerships, including contract negotiations, customer experience, business performance and end‑to‑end operations with partners across Latin America.

The successful candidate will be both entrepreneurial and highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization and be adept at understanding how fixed broadband businesses work. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technologically savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives, especially in consumer related products and services.

This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.

Key job responsibilities
  • Engage in business development efforts and contract negotiations required to launch and scale Amazon Leo services.
  • Support partner onboarding, developing operating plans, strategy and demand forecasts.
  • Deliver comprehensive written strategies, considering different types of inputs across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed business cases for new opportunities.
  • Partner with legal, finance, tax and regulatory stakeholders to solve local business challenges.
  • Develop and maintain executive‑level reports, meeting business goals and delivering a delightful customer experience.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience driving new business segment or services launches.
  • Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience, or an MBA and 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience delivering against a large organization's long‑term strategy and goals.
  • Experience managing complex customer relationships and initiatives with considerable impact where the customer need, sales strategy, and opportunity are not defined.
  • Experience in technology, media, or telecommunications; satellite internet; or subscription services.
