Role: We are hiring a YouTube Manager for A Impact Media. The YouTube Manager is a strategic and creative leader who connects our clients\' business priorities with long-form video strategy. You\'re building top real estate channels across the country, making clients locally famous, and setting a high bar for content. You\'ll own the strategy, the story, and the systems behind uploads that scale our clients\' local authority to hundreds of thousands of impressions a year on YouTube. This role blends creativity with analytics across ideation, production planning, post-production oversight, and YouTube performance.

Your curiosity for real estate fundamentals matches your passion for dominating YouTube\'s local market. You\'re excited to craft standout content that changes how top agents and teams approach media and market leadership. You\'ll lead production, posting, and packaging directions, distill insights into engaging content, and drive continuous improvement through analysis and feedback while maintaining alignment with business initiatives. You\'ll collaborate with our YouTube Strategists/Client Success Manager, creative team, and client teams to shape channel strategy, content production, and distribution.

Location: Remote (work from home). Hours: Mon – Fri 9am – 6pm EST with flexibility to work weekends when needed. Compensation and benefits reflect experience and progression from part-time to full-time roles.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership and YouTube Infrastructure

  • Manage editors, thumbnail designers, and pre-production team across multiple client accounts
  • Support relevant YouTube scorecard metrics (CTR, retention, view velocity, follower growth) and present insights to leadership and clients
  • Support scalable, documented systems for scripting, packaging, and production handoffs
  • Grow and develop direct reports and members of the YouTube Team
  • Explore and test AI tools to accelerate pre- and post-production workflows; identify opportunities to prototype AI-driven content testing, retention analysis, and scripting support
  • Coordinate with marketing, Shorts teams, and external stakeholders for distribution and promotion

YouTube Strategy and Channel Architecture

  • Support YouTube channel growth strategy with input from clients
  • Balance evergreen local content with timely reactions to market trends and other experimental formats
  • Ensure every video educates while reinforcing the authority, credibility, and mission of our clients; maintain each brand\'s distinct tone and consistency
  • Support the visual identity of packaging and run consistent A/B testing for packaging on back catalogue
  • Keep relevant YouTube scorecard metrics and present weekly insights to team and clients

Pre-Production

  • Support ideation and outlier research sessions
  • Provide feedback and insight on packaging briefs and video outlines
  • Maintain a four-to-six-week buffer of fully approved topics (outlines, rough thumbnail concepts and title options)

Post-Production

  • Ownership and management of post-production timelines and upload calendar
  • Conduct regular retention reviews to improve audience engagement
  • Work with Senior Editor to provide retention notes and final approval for uploads
  • Create brand guidelines, SOPs, and artifacts to streamline post-production

Results

  • Support 45-60+ videos monthly within your team; you\'ll primarily manage around 5-10 clients
  • 90%+ on-time delivery rate
  • Client channels achieving 100-1000 subscriber growth monthly
  • Support client revenue goals (generating leads monthly and 7.5–10M+ in annual sales per client)
  • 50–75% of videos outperform channel baselines in impressions and subscriber growth
  • Lift in subscriber-to-view ratios; higher average views per video and faster velocity in 24/48 hours
  • Document content experiments and A/B tests; increase AI/tool usage to boost team leverage
  • Improved client sentiment on brand and growth through performance discussions

Requirements

  • Understanding of the YouTube landscape — concepts, thumbnails, titles, and retention editing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical fundamentals and ability to work with data
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in YouTube channel development (bonus for large educational channels)
  • Proficiency with editing notes tools (e.g., frame.io)
  • Proficiency with Notion and GSuite
  • Knowledge of editing and Photoshop is a plus but not required

Communication Expectations

  • Slack is the go-to for communications
  • Value over-communication and speed in responses
  • Weekly Creative Team Meetings, Weekly meetings with Media Manager/Team Leader, and Weekly meetings with the creative team

Compensation

Salary range is $16,800 – $28,800 USD annually, with progression from part-time to full-time. Highly experienced YouTube strategists can earn $24,000 – $36,000 USD a year.
