What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using data from Snowflake and other sources
• Build efficient data models and write DAX measures to ensure accuracy and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective visualizations
• Optimize Power BI performance, including query tuning and dataset design
• Support ad hoc reporting needs and provide data-driven insights to internal teams

What is Required (Qualifications)

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or research
• 5+ years SQL DML expertise with Snowflake, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, or other cloud data warehouses
• 4+ years of hands-on experience developing in Power BI
• 2+ years of data warehouse modeling for OLAP databases or star schemas using dbt
• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Extra credit for experience with ETL, FiveTran, or cloud-based data orchestration systems
• Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar project management tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
