Qualificações

Title and Summary

Vice President, Products and Solutions (Core Products)

Job Overview:
  1. Ensure positive cardholder experience by working with Issuers and Partners.
  2. Develop product strategies and roadmaps to execute to ensure maximum penetration of market segments.
  3. Manage and maintain existing product lines on an ongoing basis, including vendor management.
  4. Conduct opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts.
  5. Provide design specifications for product enhancements to Product Development.
  6. Define business and technical requirements, and manage relationships with technical resources and the Global Technology Organization to maintain and build out platforms.
Major Accountabilities:
  • Work with Issuers and Partners to create positive experiences for cardholders.
  • GDV growth of Product and support new and increased issuance.
  • Identify strategic business-building opportunities in products and solutions that can be offered to customers.
  • Be an industry expert to determine new needs and innovations that MasterCard may want to investigate.
  • Monitor performance, provide feedback, define & approve change control processes, and manage partner relationships.
  • Overall responsibility for idea generation; concept validation; and business case development for existing products.
  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives using the Go-To-Market process to increase card issuance in both established and emerging markets.
  • Evaluate and apply market research and direct opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts, communicating findings to Product Development.
  • Coordinate with Product Development, customers, and third parties to develop strategy and enhancements of product offerings.
  • Oversee planning, development, and design of product marketing strategies from decision through end of life cycle.
  • Build relationships with product groups to gather feedback for development of MasterCard products.
  • Oversee execution of advertising, promotional, and sales programs to meet objectives.
  • Work with regional/line staff to ensure maximum market penetration.
  • Drive strategic and financial planning efforts and oversee department management.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels for current needs and growth.
  • Lead department in development and achievement of objectives, assessing management staff against measures.
  • Align department objectives with overall Business strategy and evaluate individual performance.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience. MBA desirable.

Knowledge / Experience:
  • 10 years related experience in product management, development, marketing, or business development within financial services or bankcard industry preferred.
  • At least 5 years of management experience desirable.
  • Experience developing and managing department budgets.
Skills / Abilities:
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, project management, and matrix-management skills.
