We are looking for a curious, empathetic, and data-driven UX Researcher to join our team at Edward Martin. With at least 3 years of experience, you will be the bridge between our users and our product strategy. You will lead end-to-step research initiatives—from defining the problem to delivering actionable insights that influence design and engineering. The ideal candidate is a master of qualitative methods, particularly In-Depth Interviews (IDIs), and has a proven track record of synthesizing complex data into Personas and Critical User Journeys (CUJs).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, recruitment, execution, and analysis of qualitative research studies.
• Conduct high-impact IDIs to uncover deep-seated user needs, pain points, and motivations.
• Translate raw data into foundational design tools, including robust User Personas and detailed Critical User Journeys (CUJs) that map the user's path across touchpoints.
• Work closely with Product Designers and Product Managers to identify research gaps and ensure findings are integrated into the product roadmap.
• Present findings through compelling storytelling to stakeholders, moving beyond "what happened" to "why it matters" and "what we should do next."
• Familiar with research tools such as UserTesting, Dscout, Qualtrics, Google Drive, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a UX Researcher or Product Researcher.
• Expertise in qualitative methodologies, specifically moderating interviews and conducting thematic analysis.
• Proven ability to map Critical User Journeys that highlight friction points and opportunities.
• Experience building and maintaining User Personas that are used by cross-functional teams to make decisions.
• Portfolio or case studies demonstrating how your research directly impacted a product's direction.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills for both research and share-out purposes.

Preferred Plus Skills

• Quantitative Proficiency: Experience designing, launching, and analyzing quantitative surveys to validate qualitative findings or measure user sentiment at scale.
