You Are

You're a creative UI / UX Designer who enjoys building intuitive, visually appealing digital experiences. You have a solid grasp of user-centered design and are comfortable working with cross-functional and global teams. You value feedback, iteration, and clear communication—especially in English—to ensure alignment across disciplines.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and evaluate user interfaces for ANSYS products.
• Create storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Figma, Sketch, XD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Make videos, images, icons, and other marketing materials; organize, communicate, and manage design deliverables for both current projects and future reference, using presentations and annotated mockups.
• Review and provide feedback on UX artifacts from other team members.
• Conduct usability studies and recommend improvements.
• Organize deliverables and document findings for current and future projects.
• Communicate design rationale across teams and present solutions clearly, especially in global settings.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's in HCI, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field with 2+ years' experience (or MS).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to iterate on designs quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for effective interaction with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and UX tools (Figma, XD, Sketch).
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience with video / screen-capture tools (e.g., Camtasia, ElevenLabs) is an advantage.

The Team You'll Be A Part Of

You will be the sole UI / UX Designer on a team dedicated to Ansys Rocky and FreeFlow Testing, Documentation, and Design. In this pivotal role, you'll shape the user experience for these products, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and technical writers. While you'll be the only designer on your immediate team, you'll also engage and share best practices with UI / UX designers working on other Ansys products, ensuring consistency and innovation across the broader organization.
