Description ActioNet is hiring a Technical Lead / Systems Architect that provides technical leadership for the administration, integration, and modernization of the agency’s data center infrastructure. This role ensures that all systems and applications are aligned with agency architecture standards and optimized for performance, security, and scalability. The Technical Lead evaluates and integrates new technologies, manages system upgrades, and ensures compliance with configuration and change management protocols. This position bridges engineering and operations, ensuring that infrastructure supports mission‑critical services reliably and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead systems and application administration, upgrades, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure alignment with agency architecture and security standards.
  • Integrate new technologies and support CI/CD workflows.
  • Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems architecture and administration.
  • Proficiency with Red Hat, VMware, Windows Server, and OpenShift.
  • Experience with CI/CD and containerized environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting agency or federal IT infrastructure.
  • Certifications in Red Hat, VMware, or AWS.
