About the Role

This position is based in São Paulo, Brazil, and follows a hybrid work model.

  • You will perform various operational duties, including accounting, booking transactions, billing, collection, and cash allocation.
  • Your ability to understand complex reinsurance agreements and manage both external and internal client relationships will be crucial.
  • You will monitor and achieve operational and financial targets, uphold quality and process standards, and resolve any account and payment discrepancies with clients.
  • Additionally, you will participate in projects and special tasks, provide training and assistance to team members, and identify root causes and failure analysis of workflows.
About the Team

You will join a highly experienced and motivated Operations team handling Reinsurance portfolios for Brazil & South Cone. Our team regularly interacts with peers and experts from other locations, collaborating daily to deliver the best service and most value to our clients. We have a strong link to other Operations teams and work together to provide fast, easy, and effective ways of conducting business within an environment where risks are understood. Our continuous improvement mindset ensures that we provide our external clients and internal partners with the best possible service.

About You

You are a dynamic professional with a background in reinsurance, specializing in Life & Health. You excel in communication and problem‑solving, and you thrive in a collaborative virtual team environment.

Essentials
  • Enjoy numbers and data analysis in Excel
  • Good financial accounting know‑how and have intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Comprehend the end‑to‑end process of reinsurance operations thoroughly.
  • A proven track record of being a self‑starter, results‑oriented working style.
  • Good service and client orientation.
  • Graduated in Accounting, Actuarial Sciences, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance, or related fields is required.
  • Intermediate English.
Nice to have
  • Advanced reinsurance technical accounting expertise.
  • Experience with Power BI and R.
  • A strong passion for data analysis, with the ability to review and interpret reports to derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Adeptly prioritize competing tasks and manage timelines.
