The successful candidate will ensure timely submission of tax filings and will adapt strategies to Brazil's evolving tax reforms. This role requires a degree in Accounting or Business Administration, advanced English, and experience with SAP systems. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with various departments and be part of a dynamic team focused on healthcare solutions.

Qualificações

  • Strong understanding of Brazil's Tax Reform and regional impacts.
  • Advanced English is mandatory; Spanish is desirable.
  • Experience collaborating with Import, Accounting, Controllership, and Legal departments.

Position Summary

A large multinational in the medical devices sector, with global operations and integration across LATAM and the U.S. A dynamic, innovative, and highly regulated environment that requires strict tax compliance and strategic vision.

Responsibilities
  • Tax Management: Coordinate the calculation of direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, IRPJ, CSLL).
  • Tax Filings: Ensure accurate and timely submission of SPEDs, EFD, ECF, and other statutory reports.
  • Tax Reform: Monitor and interpret the impacts of Brazil’s Tax Reform, proposing adjustments and adaptation strategies.
  • Compliance & Controls: Implement and enhance internal processes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and municipal tax regulations.
  • Tax Planning: Support the identification of opportunities for tax efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Reporting & Management Support: Develop tax and management reports to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Audit & Inspection: Coordinate responses to audits and inspections, ensuring transparency and organization.
  • Multinational Integration: Act as a liaison with LATAM and U.S. tax and finance teams, ensuring global alignment.
Education / Experience Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Brazil’s Tax Reform and regional impacts; LATAM taxation knowledge is a plus.
  • Languages: Advanced English (mandatory); Spanish desirable.
  • Technology: Experience with SAP ECC / S4HANA, including tax configuration.
  • Management: Experience collaborating with Import, Accounting, Controllership, and Legal departments.

Reporting Line: Controller Brazil.
