Your mission will be to
  • Price Updates: Monitor and initiate price updates in procurement systems, align with demand owners and suppliers, support calculation index-based updates, additional approvals, documentation, and ensure readiness for processing.
  • Sourcing Support: Support tail spend optimization and approvals, assist in system content maintenance, provide initial analysis and reporting, and handle supplier and stakeholder queries.
  • Digital & Analytical Capabilities: Use procurement platforms (SAP, Ariba) and analytical tools to validate data and prepare reports and to set up and execute sourcing events in the system
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Support collaboration with business requesters, country partners, and suppliers through clear and impactful communication.
  • Operational Support: Provide support in various operational activities such as order price, pay term validation, checks in SAP, PO reopening for necessary adjustments, and handling quotation requests to ensure the best supplier selection.
  • Contract Management: Support activities related to contracts, including amendments, extensions, and terminations, ensuring compliance and efficiency in the contracting process.
Are you ready for the position
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Ideally first relevant experience in procurement operations or supply chain management
  • Technical Skills: Ideally experience in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Languages: Strong proficiency in English and Spanish is required;
  • Availability to work on-site once a week at the Bayer office in São José dos Campos.
