The role involves designing and developing APIs and backend services, with a focus on Java (Spring Boot) and modern frontend technologies. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience, proficiency in API management, and a solid understanding of cloud platforms. This position allows for remote work and presents the opportunity to work on significant technical challenges for renowned clients.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of overall professional experience.
• Strong understanding of API protocols and architectural patterns (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).
• Proficiency with CI / CD, GitHub.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Apigee, KrakenD, or AWS API Gateway.
• Implement scalable and secure API architectures using REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
• Develop backend services and frontend applications using JavaScript / TypeScript with React or Angular.
• Work with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP for deployment.
• Utilize CI / CD pipelines, GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Write robust unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Collaborate with Agile / Scrum teams to deliver quality software.

About the Role

• Role : Software Engineer
• Location : Brazil (Remote)
• Employment Type : Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Apigee (preferred), KrakenD, or AWS API Gateway.
• Implement scalable and secure API architectures using REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
• Develop backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and frontend applications using JavaScript / TypeScript with React or Angular.
• Work with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP for deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
• Utilize CI / CD pipelines (ADO Pipelines), GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes to manage code, build processes, and deployments.
• Write robust unit, integration, and automated tests using tools such as Cucumber and Mockito.
• Contribute to cross-organization API standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Agile / Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
