TestFly is growing! We're looking for a hands‑on SDET with strong automation and testing fundamentals to join our engineering team in São Paulo. In this role, you'll build tools and frameworks that support international software and gaming projects, working directly with developers, QA engineers, and global stakeholders. If you enjoy automation, debugging, building reliable systems, and collaborating in English with international teams, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Automation, Tools & Framework Development
- Build, improve, and maintain automation frameworks and test tooling
- Develop robust, maintainable automation suites (UI, API, services)
- Create utilities such as API hooks, data validation tools, and productivity scripts
- Optimize workflows, reduce test execution time, and improve scalability
Testing & Quality Engineering
- Define and execute test plans, test strategies, and risk assessments
- Validate deployments and features across environments
- Diagnose automation failures, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues
- Monitor and report test results and quality metrics
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with developers, SDETs, PMs, and QA teams
- Participate in standups, sprint planning, and code reviews
- Communicate blockers, risks, and technical findings in English
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For (Required)
- 2–5+ years as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or Tools Engineer
- Experience coding test automation in at least one language (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or C++)
- Hands‑on experience with API and UI automation (Rest Assured, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
- Understanding of CI / CD pipelines, version control, and agile environments
- Strong ability to debug, analyze logs, and solve technical problems
- Clear English communication for daily global collaboration
- Must be available for onsite work in São Paulo (Morumbi area)
Nice to Have
- Experience creating custom test tools or utilities
- Cloud environment experience (AWS, GCP)
- Performance testing or SDK‑level testing
- Familiarity with containerized environments
- Passion for games or interactive systems
