The Team

Eurofins develops software applications in-house to service and support our laboratories globally. With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed daily, our Clinical LIMS Europe Program will be used as the central Laboratory Information Management System throughout Europe, and this role is crucial in defining and delivering the product roadmap.

Job Description

In this role, you will work with a dedicated, enthusiastic team developing enhancements to a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and supporting the LIMS' multiple customers.

What you will do

As a Delphi Developer, you will actively interact with Product Owners and other stakeholders to:

• Estimate the complexity and the workload
• Choose the most appropriate technical solution to meet user requirements
• Design, develop and deploy changes to the LIMS according to customers’ and business users’ requirements
• Support the LIMS in collaboration with other team members
• Work with other team members (Engineers/QA) to ensure high quality of delivered solutions
• Ensure good practices and high quality standards are implemented and followed

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

• 4+ years of experience developing solutions using Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or later (Delphi 12 preferred)
• Experience with using Delphi to develop Windows Services and/or UI Forms would be a bonus
• 4+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL
• Strong working knowledge of server-side development with Delphi and/or Oracle PL/SQL
• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle 9i, 11c or later)
• Strong knowledge of Agile software development practices, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban
• Clear experience in collaboration with Business Analysts and Software Architect(s)
• Some experience in test driven development and test automation
• Comfortable in unit testing and mocking with Delphi
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar
