Our Global Tax Center provides support for the business for tax compliance, financial and operational internal controls. This includes process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

Partner with the best

As a Tax Technology Specialist you will support, from a Tax and Tech perspective, the review and management of the calculation, filing, payment and accounts reconciliation of Brazilian Indirect Taxes at Global Tax Center.

Responsibilities
  • Implementation of innovative initiatives, methods and automation of processes to reduce/simplify those that do not add any value to achieve efficiency.
  • Identifying gaps in our systems and tools that generate inefficiency to our processes, as well as proposing and deploying improvements/corrections.
  • Connecting with the stakeholders to assure the proposals/initiatives are approved and timely implemented.
  • Coordinating and updating our monthly tax dashboard and reporting tool.
  • Structuring and streamlining the processes to make them more standard and global.
  • Establishing internal control framework - identify the process and control gaps.
  • Supporting ERP enhancements to comply with Brazilian tax reform.
  • Technical support to business and IT areas on tax-related matters.
  • Validation of tax rules in systems and compliance testing.
  • Identification of process and system improvements to ensure tax compliance.
  • Participation in tax automation and digital transformation projects.
  • Skilled in tax configuration and parameterization within integrated systems.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Have working experience as finance / indirect tax technology specialist and continuous improvement area.
  • Experience proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, i.e. Alteryx, Operational Excellence, Macros, Microsoft Power BI.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.
  • Experience in Tax One (Thomson Reuters), Oracle, SAP and SQL.
  • Experience working with continuous improvement methodologies such as Agile.
  • Have excellent communication skills with good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and self-initiative.
