Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to lead and support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, working closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality SAP finance solutions aligned with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and enhancement projects.
• Design, configure, and optimize SAP FI and CO modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders).
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
• Provide expert-level support for month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP).
• Prepare and review functional specifications for developments and interfaces.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Support SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience as an SAP FICO consultant.
• Strong expertise in SAP FI and CO modules.
• Proven experience in end‑to‑end SAP implementations.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA finance.
• Solid understanding of finance, accounting, and controlling processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

• SAP FICO certification.
• Experience in international and multi‑country projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Central Finance and New GL.
• Leadership or team lead experience.
