Qualificações

A Day in the Life

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will lead one of the most strategic Profit & Loss (P&L) portfolios in Brazil within the CST (Cranial, Spine and Trauma) business.

You will be responsible for understanding the impact of pricing on profitability and for using appropriate metrics to measure the performance of products in the market.

You will also be connected to the OPME segment and capital equipment sales, while leading a new segment, managing a technology ecosystem, and developing a strong and extensive team to cover the entire Brazilian territory.

At Medtronic, you will work in a competitive environment and will be part of a relevant market, understanding trends that affect the products for which you are responsible for and their related procedures.

Together with your team, you can optimize the effectiveness of your product portfolio by understanding the demands of each customer including the public and private segment, strategic accounts, payers, distributors, financial and governmental institutions.

Responsibilities
  • Directly contribute to achieving the financial and operational goals of the Profit & Loss within the CST business unit, supporting the company’s overall financial and strategic objectives as a leader for customer demands.
  • Ensure sales strategies are aligned with marketing strategies and lead implementation by setting short‑ and long‑term objectives, monitoring progress, and measuring success through Business Intelligence, Salesforce, and sales efficiency.
  • Support pricing and portfolio mix management to meet field, sales, and customer needs, while providing solutions in offers and presentations.
  • Oversee new product/market introductions, sales training programs, and Global Operation Unit and Headquarters visits.
  • Support key surgeon/key account visits and attend congresses and meetings.
  • Provide strategy and direction for ongoing business development, implement marketing plans, define sales and market development objectives and tools, and bring positive results and growth for the business in the region.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and an MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree.
  • Experience in the capital equipment segment and OPME.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience, including new technology introduction and portfolio transition.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with people management.
  • A valid driver’s license (Category B).
  • Fluency in Spanish is a nice to have.
