You will leverage your extensive skills in Python and data modelling to create systems for trading activities. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in Python, a strong understanding of data quality, and familiarity with SQL. This role offers a dynamic environment focused on agile methodologies.

Qualificações

• At least 1 year of experience in the trading domain / capital markets.
• 5+ years of experience working with Python.
• Extensive experience designing and developing reports and performance metrics.

Project Description

Building risk applications and tools for an innovative international top‑tier hedge fund from the ground up, comprising systems for traders, pre‑trade checks and analysis, risks and limits management, reports of trading activities, FIX connectivity, and market data provider connectivity (e.g., Bloomberg B‑pipe), etc.

Responsibilities

The team focuses on the development and maintenance of various applications. The successful candidate will have considerable and proven experience in Python, a good working knowledge of end‑user and server‑side data processing techniques, and a solid understanding of SDLC and agile development methodologies.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of data quality principles
• Hands‑on experience with Python
• At least 1 year of experience in the trading domain / capital markets
• Proven experience designing and developing data models using industry best practices
• Experience using code‑management and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
• 5+ years of experience working with Python
• Good understanding of and demonstrated experience with SQL (MySQL)
• Extensive experience designing and developing reports and performance metrics from complex and disparate platforms
• Good understanding and demonstrated experience with Power Query (M query language) and DAX
• Languages: English – B2 Upper Intermediate
