Senior Managing Consultant, Advisors & Consulting Services, Strategy & Transformation

ADVISORS & CONSULTING SERVICES within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services leveraging expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to deliver strategic insights and recommendations. We work with a diverse global client base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.

The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Strategy & Transformation consultants lead clients through impactful decision-making to tackle strategic, tactical, operational, and transformational challenges, applying a broad set of problem-solving techniques to improve strategy, performance, and operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

Client Impact

  • Lead complex client engagements across various industries and problem statements.
  • Develop strategies and programs for regional and global clients using data and technology solutions to unlock value.
  • Manage senior client relationships from mid-level to C-suite to drive success.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and promote enthusiasm for Mastercard’s solutions.

Team Collaboration & Culture

  • Guide teams through complex problem-solving to deliver business-focused solutions.
  • Motivate teams to produce high-quality deliverables and foster an inclusive environment.
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to scope projects and develop solutions.
  • Lead training, coaching, and mentorship for team members.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with experience in consulting, strategy, business intelligence, or product management.
  • Experience leading strategic consulting engagements and senior client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership.
  • Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and lead proposals.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills with numerical analysis proficiency.
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills in English and local language.
  • Legal eligibility to work and travel as required.

Preferred qualifications

  • Industry-specific expertise.
  • MBA or relevant master’s degree (not mandatory).
