Overview

Senior Java Full Stack Developer. As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will lead the design and development of scalable applications, working across front-end and back-end technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive API and microservices development, and ensure code quality through testing practices.

• Lead initiatives and influence technical decisions in a senior-level role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in full stack development with strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with TDD and modern software engineering practices.
• Advanced English proficiency – both written and verbal – is essential for communication with global teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with ApacheActivity, YUI, and Warranty domain knowledge is a plus.

Work model

Work model: Hybrid. This position requires one or two days per week at a client or Cognizant office in São Paulo, SP, or São José dos Campos, based on business requirements. We support a healthy work-life balance through wellness programs.
