What qualifications are required to be considered for this selection process
- Preferred training / certifications : Cisco certifications
- Practical experiencein network implementation and operations
- Familiarity withdesigning, implementing, and maintaining voice-capable TCP / IP networksusing Cisco or other enterprise-grade equipment
- Knowledge ofenterprise Ethernet, wireless networks, VLANs, QoS, routing, switching, and IP addressing
- Understanding ofcarrier technologies, such as T1 / E1 / PRI, ISDN, MPLS, Ethernet, point-to-point (P2P), and Internet for system interconnectivity
- Experience withinstalling, managing, upgrading, and troubleshooting enterprise voice systems, especially Cisco Unified Communication technologies, including support for remote users
- Availability for after-hours and weekend work, including participation in the department’s on-call rotation
- Willingness to travelto national and international locations
- Fluent or advanced English

- Design implementation of advanced voice technologies such as carrier SIP trunking, ACME and CUbe
- Management of virtualization technologies particularly VMWare vSphere
- Hands‑on experience with any of the following network platforms : ACME, Cube, Cisco Call Managers storage and Cisco Nexus converged switching
- Experience with Cisco, and Avaya or Nortel voice platforms
- Excellent communication skills and experience effectively communicating with technical and non‑technical audiences
- Demonstrated efficient and effective use of problem‑solving and task prioritization to solve complex network challenges
- Certificates, Licenses and Registrations (CCVP, CCNP, CCIE)
- Experience with Firewall technologies as Palo Alto or Firewall services in the cloud as ZScaler.
What will the duties of this role be?
- Under limited supervision, oversee the design, purchase, installation, and support of network communications and services for customers, including LAN / WAN / Voice / Video services in central and remote offices (requires thorough knowledge of LAN / WAN systems, networks, and applications);
- Ensure high availability of enterprise voice platforms that support internal employee business functions and external customer Contact Centers ( UCC );
- Serve as one of the primary points of contact for telecommunication carriers and service providers and coordinate circuit design, provisioning, installation and troubleshooting;
- Works on problems of a diverse nature and set of equipment and associated problem sets where analysis of situation requires logical evaluation and judgment;
- May be responsible for evaluating current network systems performance and trending;
- Assists in the planning of large scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies;
- Coordinating hand‑offs of incidents to the appropriate technical personnel for follow‑up (typically a follow‑the‑sun) model;
- Candidate needs to be skilled in analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of network incidents;
- Willing to work in within a large global team;
- After hours and weekend work is sometimes required;
- Must be willing to be part of an on‑call rotation for production support;
- ITIL familiarization is desired (Incident / Problem / Change / Configuration Management);
- Work with various networking tools, equipment and processes;
- Monitoring work queues to ensure assigned tickets are completed within SLA.
