Overview

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer in South America, North America, or Central America.

This role offers the chance to take ownership of a leading cloud application in a fast-growing data reliability and AI platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing frontend solutions that directly impact the user experience and overall product quality. Working closely with product teams and fellow engineers, you will translate complex requirements into maintainable, high-performance interfaces. Your work will establish reusable components, implement design patterns, and ensure scalability while enhancing test coverage. The role encourages autonomy, creativity, and a product-driven mindset, enabling you to tackle challenging problems from inception to production. This is a remote-first position across the Americas, offering exposure to innovative technologies and high-profile customer use cases.

Accountabilities
  • Take full ownership of frontend projects from conception to deployment, acting as a product-minded engineer and technical owner.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to iteratively deliver value to users and enhance customer experience.
  • Build and maintain a robust frontend architecture, including reusable components, design patterns, and high-quality, testable code.
  • Optimize application performance, quality, and maintainability, ensuring scalable solutions for complex systems.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers on frontend best practices, code quality, and architectural decisions.
  • Solve challenging problems creatively while navigating ambiguity and identifying practical, actionable solutions.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of professional experience delivering production-grade frontend code and participating in full-stack design discussions.
  • 3+ years of recent React experience with strong JavaScript skills on large, complex codebases.
  • Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as react-testing-library, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Proven track record of tech-leading critical projects or initiatives and providing mentorship to teammates.
  • Strong product orientation with the ability to prioritize tasks, scope features, and align development with business goals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
  • Pragmatic, action-oriented mindset with a focus on high-quality deliverables and user-centric solutions.
