A leading logistics company in São Paulo, Brazil, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead their Finance Shared Service Center. The successful candidate will oversee a team of about 90 finance professionals and manage key financial processes, including Record to Report and Purchase to Pay. With a minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and at least 5 years in a leadership role, you will drive operational excellence and contribute to governance and improvement initiatives. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish as a plus.
We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead our Finance Shared Service Center. This position will be responsible for managing multiple end-to-end financial processes and leading a team of approximately 90 professionals, including Managers, Supervisors, Coordinators, and Analysts.
This role acts strategically, working in close partnership with Operations Directors, Managers, and Corporate Functions, playing a key role in governance, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead and manage the Finance Shared Service Center, overseeing a team of approximately 90 finance professionals
Ensure effective people management, development of direct reports, and maintenance of a strong talent pipeline across all levels
Provide technical accounting guidance in close collaboration with the Senior Accounting Manager
Lead strategic discussions, cross-functional meetings, financial projects, and change management initiatives
Act as a key contributor in the Oracle Cloud implementation and the centralized HUB implementation
Drive operational excellence, governance, and continuous improvement across finance processes
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Fluency in English
Previous experience managing a Finance Shared Service Center
Strong experience with finance processes such as Record to Report (RtR), Purchase to Pay (PtP), and Order to Cash (OtC)
Experience with internal controls, risk identification, mitigation, and governance standards
Proven experience leading financial projects and process improvements
Experience implementing process reviews and change management initiatives
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders
Strong leadership, resilience, emotional intelligence, and strategic mindset
Postgraduate degree or MBA
Fluency in Spanish
Previous experience in a Big 4 environment
Experience implementing and/or working with Oracle Cloud
